Overheard in the lobby of my building as I was walking back to the office from grabbing a snack:
Not sure there's anything to add here other than MEANING TO?? HUH????
"So I lost my PNC ATM card. I've been meaning to call someone about that."

I'm bleeding profusely. I've been meaning to go to the emergency room to see someone about that.
On a serious note, this is why two factor authentication is good - even if someone accidentally loses a card, as long as whoever finds it doesn't know the PIN, they can't use the card.
This is also why I don't support current approaches to biometric authentication: losing those is irreversible, and I think that the safeguards against loss (or replay, or or or...) are poor.
